Roel Funcken
At his core, he is a passionate musician with over 30 years of experience and a talented painter, expressing creativity through both sound and visual art. Professionally, he works as a dedicated sound technician and designer, shaping audio for music, products, and media. He has designed sound for Philips and commercials such as Nivea, mixed jingles for German radio with Stemharmen, and did sound for artists including Max Cooper, Opgezwolle, Noisia, but also bands like, Lois Lane, Max Romeo . In addition to his production work, he teaches at the Herman Brood Academie, where he shares his expertise as a Pro Tools and Ableton specialist. Fluent in Dutch, English, and German, he combines artistic depth with technical mastery to deliver immersive sonic experiences in both studio and live contexts.
